Terms and Conditions
I. Preliminary aspects
SCIO ProCycling S.L. (hereinafter “SCIO”) owns the website scioprocycling.com (the “Portal”), through which it offers cycling experiences and activities (the “Services”). Access to and use of the Portal are governed by these Terms and Conditions (the “T&C”). SCIO may update these T&C at any time; the current version will be the one published on the Portal. Continued use implies acceptance.
II. Acceptance
The user (the “User”) declares having read and fully accepts these T&C when browsing, registering, submitting forms, or contracting Services through the Portal.
III. Capacity
To contract, the User must be over 18 years old and have sufficient legal capacity. When booking for third parties, the User guarantees having their authorization and providing truthful data.
IV. Object and scope of the Services
SCIO organizes and sells cycling experiences and training camps with specific dates and conditions (duration, location, level, slots, price, and inclusions). SCIO may modify content, dates and/or cancel Services for justified reasons in accordance with these T&C.
V. Prices and taxes
Prices are shown in euros (€) and include applicable taxes unless otherwise indicated. Items not included (e.g., flights, unspecified transfers, personal expenses) will be expressly indicated in each Service description.
VI. Payment methods (TPV)
Payments are made through a secure gateway (TPV) and other methods enabled by SCIO. Using the TPV means accepting the terms of its provider. SCIO is not responsible for external incidents (system outages, bank rejections, etc.).
VII. Contracting and completion process
The contract is completed when the User: (1) selects the Service, (2) accepts these T&C, (3) makes the reservation payment (30%) via TPV, and (4) receives confirmation by email. Slots are limited and confirmation is subject to availability. SCIO may reject requests with a full refund of amounts paid if the slot is not confirmed.
VIII. Payment schedule (experiences)
- Reservation: 30 % of the total amount at the time of purchase (TPV).
- Intermediate payment: up to reaching at least 50 % of the total, 15 days before the start.
- Final balance: 100 % paid the day before the start.
Failure to meet deadlines allows SCIO to cancel the reservation applying the cancellation policy in Clause IX.
IX. Cancellations, changes and refunds
Cancellation by the User (fees):
- More than 15 days before: 30 % of the total.
- Between 15 and 5 days: 50 % of the total.
- Less than 5 days or no‑show: 100 % of the total.
Date changes or transfer of slot: must be in writing, subject to availability and possible additional costs. Refunds, when applicable, will be made using the same payment method within 14 working days from the confirmation of the right.
Legal note: for leisure services with specific dates/periods, the right of withdrawal may not apply (art. 103.l) TRLGDCU).
X. Modifications and cancellation by SCIO (force majeure)
SCIO may modify itineraries, schedules, speakers/athletes, or equivalent inclusions for operational reasons or force majeure (weather, safety, official restrictions, illness). Equivalent or higher‑value provisions will be guaranteed. If SCIO cancels without an equivalent alternative, the User may reschedule or receive a refund for the portion not provided (excluding already‑enjoyed or unrelated expenses, such as flights).
XI. Documentation, insurance and participant requirements
The User is responsible for their documentation, physical condition appropriate to the level, and compliance with road‑safety rules. Unless otherwise stated in the description, the price includes personal insurance (accident/assistance) tailored to the activity; coverage details will be provided before the start. Complementary insurance is recommended when appropriate.
XII. Conduct and safety
SCIO and its guides may reject participation or interrupt it if the User’s behavior, equipment, or condition jeopardizes group safety, without entitlement to a refund.
XIII. Intellectual property and image
Portal content (texts, photos, brand, logos) belongs to SCIO or third‑party licensors. Reproduction without permission is prohibited. Unless the User objects in writing, they authorize the non‑exclusive, non‑remunerated use of images taken during the experience for SCIO’s promotional purposes.
XIV. Use of the Portal and privacy
The User commits to lawful use of the Portal. Personal data handling follows the Privacy Policy published on the Portal, in accordance with applicable regulations.
XV. Communications
Contractual communications will be sent to the email and phone number provided by the User. It is the User’s responsibility to keep them up to date.
XVI. Liability
SCIO will be liable for its own breaches under the legal terms. It will not be responsible for third‑party services outside the contracted package, nor for unforeseeable or unavoidable circumstances caused by a third party, nor for force majeure. In no case will SCIO be liable for loss of profit.
XVII. Governing law and jurisdiction
These T&C are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute will be submitted to the Courts of Madrid (Spain), without prejudice to mandatory consumer legislation.
XVIII. Cookies
The Portal may use technical cookies and, where applicable, analytical/marketing cookies in accordance with the published Cookie Policy, where the User can configure preferences.
