DAY 1 · MAY 22ARRIVAL IN ITALY, WELCOME TO THE AOSTA VALLEY
Upon arrival at Milan airport, our team will welcome you and transfer you by private vehicle to your hotel in Valle d’Aosta, a unique enclave surrounded by the great peaks of the Alps.
After check-in, the experience will begin with the delivery of an exclusive Welcome Pack and personalized adjustment of the AURUM bikes.
The day will culminate with a technical briefing, where the full program of the experience will be presented, followed by an Alpine-style welcome dinner, carefully selected to combine local cuisine and a premium atmosphere.
A perfect start to a unique cycling experience, where every detail is designed for you to enjoy cycling.
DAY 2 · MAY 23ASCENT TO THE PILA PASS AND START OF STAGE 14 (VIP)
Today marks the start of the real challenge.
A day designed to experience cycling at its finest and the excitement of the Giro d’Italia live.
After breakfast, we will set off on our bikes directly from the hotel towards the climb to Pila, a demanding and spectacular ascent.
At the end of the climb, we will see the finish line arch for stage 14 in Pila.
We will return to the hotel to rest and change before heading to the VIP Hospitality area, where we will watch the official start of stage 14 of the Giro, surrounded by the exclusive atmosphere of the race.
Afterwards, we will stand at the side of the road to cheer on the peloton and experience the stage from just a few meters away.
The day will end with dinner at a local restaurant, where we can share our impressions, relive the best moments of the day, and enjoy the region’s cuisine.
An intense and absolutely unforgettable day, where cycling is experienced from the inside.
We will stay at the same hotel in Aosta.
DAY 3 · MAY 24VISIT TO MILAN AND END OF STAGE 15 (VIP)
After breakfast, we will head to Milan, one of Europe’s most iconic capitals.
Upon arrival, we will take a sightseeing tour of the historic center.
We will enjoy lunch at a restaurant in the center of Milan, perfect for sampling the local cuisine.
In the afternoon, we will move on to watch the end of the 15th stage in the best VIP Hospitality area, where we will experience one of the most exciting moments of the trip. From an exclusive space, we will be able to follow the outcome of the stage.
A day that combines the perfect blend of:

DAY 4 · MAY 25ROUTE WITH A.CONTADOR AND I.BASSO – LAKE COMO
Today we will experience one of the most special and unforgettable days of the trip.
On the rest day of the Giro d’Italia, we will enjoy a unique experience that combines cycling, legend, and exclusivity.
After breakfast, we will set off on our AURUM bikes to ride around the spectacular surroundings of Lake Como, one of the most beautiful spots in Italy.
A peaceful route, designed to enjoy the surroundings, the landscape, and the pleasure of cycling.
Alberto Contador and Iván Basso will accompany us on the ride, sharing kilometers, anecdotes, and unique moments on the bike.
We will stop for coffee by the lake, enjoying the surroundings and the relaxed atmosphere.
At the end of the route, we will head to a selected restaurant, where we will enjoy a meal in a privileged setting.
In the afternoon, we will enjoy a totally exclusive experience:
we will have access to the environment of one of the professional teams of the Giro d’Italia, where we will be able to see first-hand how the technical staff works, visit the team’s buses, trucks, and vehicles, and discover the inner workings of a professional structure.
The day will culminate with a dinner at the hotel with the professional team, sharing a table, experiences, and stories in a friendly and unique atmosphere.
DAY 5 · MAY 26FAREWELL
After breakfast, we will check out of the hotel and prepare for our return home.
Our team will take care of the transfer to Milan airport, bringing to an end an unforgettable experience marked by cycling, exclusivity, and passion for the Giro d’Italia.

What is the difficulty level of the experiences?
Our experiences are designed for cyclists of different levels, from cycling enthusiasts with a good physical foundation to more experienced cyclists. You don’t need to be a professional.
What is included in the trip?

Do I need to bring my own bike?
No. Every SCIO experience includes an AURUM bike, fitted to your measurements. You only need to bring your pedals, cycling shoes, and, if you wish, your own saddle.
All our bikes are equipped with GPS mounts. Please let us know in advance which device you use so we can prepare the adapter.
What is the group size?
The minimum group size is 8 participants and the maximum is 14, ensuring an exclusive and personalized atmosphere.
Are the trips suitable for solo travelers?
Yes. Many of our guests travel alone and find a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere here. You can bring a companion and share a room. Please inquire about the price for companions who do not participate in the Experience.
What safety measures are in place?
All routes are checked in advance. We provide a support vehicle, experienced guides trained in first aid, and full mechanical assistance.
Can I customize a trip or create a private group?
Yes, we design tailor-made experiences for private groups, corporate trips, or groups of friends looking for an exclusive adventure.
How does the booking and payment process work?
You can book directly on our website or contact us by email. To confirm your spot, you will need to pay a deposit. The remaining balance must be paid before departure.
What happens if the trip does not reach the minimum number of participants?
If the group does not reach the minimum number, we will offer you alternatives:
- Change to another date or experience without penalty.
- Full refund of your reservation.
What if there is bad weather or unforeseen events?
Is travel insurance required?
Yes. All participants must have travel insurance covering accidents, medical assistance, and possible cancellations. If you don’t have one, we can recommend specific policies for cycling trips.
What should I pack?
On the bike: bib shorts, helmet, gloves, rain jacket, sunglasses, cycling shoes, and your pedals.
Off the bike: casual clothing, comfortable walking shoes, swimwear (in destinations with pools or beaches), and a light jacket.
Other essentials: passport or ID, travel insurance, personal medication, power adapter, and sunscreen.
How much do I pay when booking?
A 30% deposit is required to secure your spot. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the experience.
Can I cancel it?
- +45 days: 100% refund.
- 45–30 days: The 30% deposit is non-refundable.
- –30 days: Non-refundable.
Can I transfer my booking to someone else?
Yes, free of charge, up to 15 days before the start of the experience.
What happens in case of force majeure?
You may change your dates or receive a 100% credit voucher valid for 12 months.
