Join a unique three-day cycling experience designed around the prestigious Gran Fondo Alberto Contador. Based in the cycling paradise of Oliva Nova (Spain), you will have the opportunity to train alongside Alberto Contador, share moments with him, and receive expert tips to face the Gran Fondo with confidence.
This all-inclusive package is designed so your only worry is enjoying the ride: you will be provided with a high-performance AURUM bike, mechanical support, and a complete personalized training and nutritional plan to ensure you arrive in peak form. Additionally, you will have guaranteed registration with VIP access and a front-row start. We prepare you with specific training sessions and route reconnaissance of the ~146 km course so that on race day, you can simply let go and ride.

Welcome to Oliva Nova. Your pro experience begins the moment you arrive. We will assist you with check-in and introduce you to the team before conducting a professional bike fit on your AURUM bike.
A detailed briefing will outline the weekend plan culminating in the Gran Fondo. After adjusting your position and familiarizing yourself with the bike, we will go for a short ride around the hotel surroundings.
The evening is dedicated to a welcome dinner hosted by Alberto Contador, where we will discuss the days ahead. You will meet fellow cyclists and our professional guides, building the team spirit that will carry you to the finish line. We will conclude with a talk by Alberto Contador, sharing his personal advice on how to tackle the Gran Fondo.

DAY 2FINAL PREPARATION, EXCLUSIVE PRESENTATION, AND REST
Today we focus on the final preparations before the big day. We will complete a 50 km route with 300 m of elevation gain, designed to help you adapt to the environment and progressively activate your legs. It will be a smooth ride, allowing you to scout parts of the course while your body tunes up.
We will work on key aspects such as effort management, learning to conserve energy and ride more efficiently and intelligently. The afternoon is reserved for rest and recovery, essential for arriving in peak condition. Later, you will enjoy a unique moment: an exclusive presentation with Alberto Contador and a special guest—a former pro cyclist and ambassador for this edition—followed by a carefully curated pre-race dinner.
Everything is ready so that tomorrow, you only have to enjoy the experience.

The big day has arrived. The moment to put everything you have prepared into practice. You will take your place at the start of the Gran Fondo Alberto Contador with front-row VIP access, ready to face an epic challenge of ~146 km and ~2,538 m of elevation gain.
With our continuous support throughout the entire route, you can focus solely on what matters: your performance, your sensations, and enjoying the unique atmosphere of a world-class cycling event. Crossing the finish line will be much more than just finishing a race; it will be the start of the celebration. We will conclude the experience at the closing event, sharing stories and celebrating the effort, the breakthrough, and everything you have achieved together.

What is the difficulty level of the experiences?
Our experiences are designed for riders of different levels, from cycling enthusiasts with a solid fitness base to more experienced cyclists. You don’t need to be a professional, but we recommend a preparation period of 3 to 6 months to fully enjoy the trip.
Each route is classified according to distance and elevation gain, so you can choose the experience that best suits your profile.

Do I need to bring my own bike?
No. Every SCIO experience includes an AURUM bike, fitted to your measurements. You only need to bring your pedals, cycling shoes, and, if you wish, your own saddle.
All our bikes are equipped with GPS mounts. Please let us know in advance which device you use so we can prepare the adapter.
What is the group size?
The minimum group size is 6 participants and the maximum is 12, ensuring an exclusive and personalized atmosphere.
Are the trips suitable for solo travelers?
Yes. Many of our guests travel alone and find a friendly and welcoming environment here. You can share a room with another guest or request a single room for an additional fee.
What safety measures are in place?
All routes are checked in advance. We provide a support vehicle, experienced guides trained in first aid, and full mechanical assistance.
Can I customize a trip or create a private group?
Yes, we design tailor-made experiences for private groups, corporate trips, or groups of friends looking for an exclusive adventure.
How does the booking and payment process work?
You can book directly on our website or contact us by email. To confirm your spot, you will need to pay a deposit. The remaining balance must be paid before departure.
What happens if the trip does not reach the minimum number of participants?

What if there is bad weather or unforeseen events?
Is travel insurance required?
Yes. All participants must have travel insurance covering accidents, medical assistance, and possible cancellations. If you don’t have one, we can recommend specific policies for cycling trips.
What should I pack?
On the bike: bib shorts, helmet, gloves, rain jacket, sunglasses, cycling shoes, and your pedals.
Off the bike: casual clothing, comfortable walking shoes, swimwear (in destinations with pools or beaches), and a light jacket.
Other essentials: passport or ID, travel insurance, personal medication, power adapter, and sunscreen.
What is the single room supplement?
No single supplement applies; a private individual room is included in your package.
How much do I pay when booking?
A 30% deposit is required to secure your spot. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the experience.
Can I cancel it?
- +45 days: 100% refund.
- 45–30 days: The 30% deposit is non-refundable.
- –30 days: Non-refundable.
Can I transfer my booking to someone else?
Yes, free of charge, up to 15 days before the start of the experience.
What happens in case of force majeure?
You may change your dates or receive a 100% credit voucher valid for 12 months.
